The Reiman Corp. team partnered with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, the Wyoming Department of Transportation (WYDOT) and the Wyoming Game and Fish to complete this challenging and successful bridge project in Alcova, WY.
Due to environmental concerns, the project had to be completed during a short construction window between September and April 2019. We got to work quickly by replacing a timber bridge on the downstream side of the Alcova Dam, then, as construction of the new bridge began, provided a 305’ long temporary bridge to allow traffic to continue through the area.
The new Alcova Bridge—featuring capacity for two-lane traffic, as well as pedestrians—was completed in spring 2019.
