Reiman Corp. is recognized for high-quality work throughout Wyoming and the Rocky Mountain region.

No matter where you go in Wyoming, you're likely to see a building, bridge or roadway built by the skilled construction professionals at Reiman Corp. The firm is committed to professional excellence in construction with emphasis on construction supervision, subcontractor relations, scheduling, procurement, coordination, claims resolution, bonding, insurance and risk management.

Since 1948, this locally owned and operated firm has been putting its mark all over the state. Throughout the years, the firm has completed more than 1,500 projects, including commercial and public buildings, highway and railroad bridges, concrete-paving, and pile-driving work as well as structural remodeling.

In addition to Wyoming, Reiman Corp. works throughout Colorado, New Mexico and Western Nebraska.

The firm has an average annual volume of work of approximately $35 to $45 million and is pre-qualified with the Wyoming Department of Transportation for $65 million of uncompleted work. Reiman Corp. presently has approximately 140 employees year round, and up to 225 employees during the peak summertime construction season.

Reiman managers pride themselves on developing strong relationships with architects, suppliers, and subcontractors in their effort to quickly meet client needs -- using local resources wherever possible and providing safe work environments.

Success in meeting these goals has given the business a solid reputation for integrity and skill.

The firm was founded by W.R. (Bob) Reiman, who enlisted in the U.S. Navy during World War II after graduating from the University of Cincinnati with a Civil Engineering degree . He was assigned to a "Seabeas" unit in the Philippines, where he met Bill Lowe, a serviceman from Billings, Montana. Reiman joined Lowe and Russ Riedesel, another builder from Billings, in a business partnership after the war.

Reiman became managing member of Riedesel-Lowe, the company they formed in Cody, Wyoming, in April 1948. The firm moved to Cheyenne in 1950 to build the Barrett Building. Reiman has maintained its headquarters in Cheyenne ever since.

Through ownership changes, Riedesel-Lowe Co. became Riedesel-Reiman Co., Reiman-Wuerth Co., Reiman Construction Co., Engineered Structures of Wyoming, Inc. and finally Reiman Corp.

Today, Reiman Corp. is owned and operated by Reiman's three sons -- Tom, Wally and R.C. Tom, a graduate of the University of Wyoming with a degree in Civil Engineering, serves as the firm's President. Wally is the Executive Vice President and Project Manager. R.C. is Chief Financial Officer and runs the daily operations of the firm. The family tradition is being carried on with the recent hiring of the third generation of the Reiman family. Scott Reiman, son of Tom, a recent Colorado State University graduate with a degree in Construction Management, joined the company in January 2005, and Lauren Reiman, daughter of Wally, a recent Northern Arizona University graduate with a degree in Construction Management also, joined the company in June of 2005.

As the area's economy has changed over the years, so has Reiman Corp.'s business. Until the early 1980s, the firm was primarily a commercial building contractor. At that time, the Wyoming economy began declining and the Reiman's knew that in order to succeed, they would need to expand their services.

"When construction started on the interstate highway, we took advantage of the opportunity to do bridgework," W.R. (Bob) said. "We were experienced in working with concrete and steel, so we knew we could build bridges." R.C. says "Throughout the 80's into the early 2000's, bridge construction became our mainstay."

Through it all, Reiman Corp. credits its success to its employees. "We've been fortunate and have had very good people who've worked for us for years," R.C. said. "One of our employees is retiring in 2005 after 47 years with our firm. And we've had a number of people with similar longevity."

When asked what's next for Reiman Corp., R.C. says the firm will continue doing what it does best: "We plan to continue building Wyoming and bridging the Rockies well into the future."
