About

Our Founder

It’s been 75 years since W.R. (Bob) Reiman planted the roots of Reiman Corp. in a solid, unshakable foundation of honesty, reliability, and Wyoming “true grit.”

A man of incredible perseverance, Bob believed anything was possible. He wasn’t afraid to learn new things, and he enjoyed the challenge of setting his sights high on new ventures.

As a longtime supporter of the University of Wyoming, as well as a founding member of the Cowboy Joe Club, Bob was extremely proud of Reiman Corp.’s involvement in building the War Memorial Stadium in Laramie.

Today, we continue Bob’s legacy through our four core values—the driving influence behind the way we do business every day, and the characteristics that define who we are as a company.

Our History

During World War II, Bob—then a recent Civil Engineering graduate—joined the U.S. Navy and was assigned to a Seabees unit in the Philippines. While there, Bob met Bill Lowe, a serviceman from Billings, Montana.

After the war, Bob and Bill joined Russ Riedesel (a builder, also from Billings) to form a business partnership, and in the spring of 1948, the trio proudly established Riedesel-Lowe Co. in Cody, Wyoming.

Two years later, the firm moved to Cheyenne, Wyoming, to build the Barrett Building—the current home of the Wyoming State Museum and state archives.

Through the years, our name has evolved from its original Riedesel-Lowe Co. to Riedesel-Reiman Co.; Reiman-Wuerth Co.; Reiman Construction Co.; Engineered Structures of Wyoming, Inc.; and, finally, to the current Reiman Corp.

Today, our firm is operated by CEO Tom Reiman, President Rich Bolkovatz, and Vice President Wally Reiman. Rounded out by a third generation of the Reiman family and an emerging group of new, talented leaders, our leadership team is strong, motivated and optimistic about all that’s ahead.

Though we initially began as a commercial building contractor, we’ve since grown and evolved to match and meet the region’s needs.

Reiman Corp. is now a general contractor (licensed in Wyoming, Colorado and Nebraska) focusing on civil, highway, and commercial construction.

The relationships we’ve developed are strong; the reputation we’ve earned is unsurpassed; and with a dedicated, hard-working team and a lot of Wyoming true grit behind us, we’re excited to continue our legacy of bridging the Rockies and building Wyoming for decades to come.

Our Core Values

Four simple words that encompass the Reiman Corp. commitment to getting the job done, every single time, no matter what it takes. Don’t know how? Learn how! Every challenge is an opportunity to refine and expand on our existing knowledge and set of skills.

The ability to dig in, work hard, and come back for more the next day… even if that’s in bad weather or on challenging terrain. True Grit is the rugged, Wyoming-born attitude and spirit that guides our every project and looks each challenge square in the eye.

Relationships matter. Build the bridge (sometimes in a literal sense) with/for each customer, then continue to nurture and maintain that bridge even after the project is complete.

Remember the values that Reiman Corp. stands for and has passed down through three generations; remember that handshakes only carry as much integrity as the person initiating them; and remember that being part of team Reiman means living out our company values in a way that would make Bob Reiman proud, now and for generations to come.
